In cycling, the gruppetto is the group at the back that works together so every rider makes it home. That's the idea behind the fund.
We host
Each May, Off the Wheel brings together riders, business and the wider community for lunch with one of cycling's great names.
You give
Every ticket, table and donation goes into the Gruppetto Fund, held by the Australian Communities Foundation.
Young people thrive
With the Newsboys Foundation, we grant funds to programs that give young people mentors, confidence and opportunity.
Off the Wheel 2027
Allan Peiper's road to the professional peloton took extraordinary determination, and so did life after racing. He went on to become one of the sport's most respected team directors, guiding riders including Cadel Evans and Tadej Pogačar. Join us as he talks with Matthew Keenan.
